Day of Caring

Tacoma School of the Arts students volunteered today as the Day of Caring. They helped prep materials for our upcoming “Story Alive” program. On October 28, SOTA students, A Step Ahead, and The Children’s Museum will be presenting “The Little Old Lady who Wasn’t Afraid of Anything”. We hope our families can be there!:

ASAPC Annual Retreat

A Step Ahead staff enjoyed their annual retreat at the Girl Scouts facility in DuPont. We all got our First Aid/CPR training updated and shared in a delicious potluck salad bar. The afternoon session included an in-service by Christy & Tammi on how to take care of ourselves so we can take care of others.
