ASAPC Summer Field Trips 2021!

6 Dates in June, July and August
2 Sessions Per Day. Space is Limited to 15 Kids + Their Adults Per Session

Come Play with ASAPC!  We’ll have added safety measures in place to ensure the safety of our kids and our staff!  This will include:

  • Two Sessions Each Day of 15 Kids + their adults. (Siblings up to age 5 are welcome, but must also be signed up as part of the limited number in session).

Meridian Habitat Park

Thursday June 24th, 2021
Session 1 at 10am & Session 2 at 12pm

Meet us at the play zone.  We’ll create beautiful multicolored butterflies with your personal ASAPC supplied kit of materials (one per family). Take a mindfulness nature walk and find your own snack butterfly! Join us for a designated circle time that is well spaced with music and movement activities.  Explore the many features of this underused park.

Wildwood Park

Meet us at the big toy climbers to come pick a special take home duck to float down shallow (6” deep) stream and follow it as it is carried by the current. This park features two sizes of climbers and feels like a campground setting. Create bubbles using wands and go on a short  adventure walk to discover forest features and creatures! Have children wear water shoes, water sandals or boots to wade the shallow stream.

Frontier Park in Graham

Meet us at the big toy climbers.  We’ll be Rock painting with your ASAPC provided individualized rock painting kits! Explore and find an inspirational rock or place one for someone else to find.  Enjoy watching and popping gigantic bubbles. Join a well-spaced circle time. There is a fantastic climber to play on and trails to explore. Wear comfortable clothing & bring sunscreen, snacks, water and a picnic blanket to sit on.

Sam Peach Park

Meet us at the climbers and learn how to foster math concepts through movement, games and sensory play that is highly engaging for toddlers. Sensory water beads and counting frog puppets (one set per family) giveaway. Giant bubbles will be created. Well-spaced circle time, climber, ball field, giant lawn and track are present to explore. Come join us in this pleasant and underused park. Dress in comfortable clothing, bring sunscreen, hats or umbrellas as shade trees are sparse and a picnic blanket to sit on!

Pioneer Spray Park

Meet us on the lawn close to spray park to join us for summertime fun with water play, take home fish/ flamingo squirters, enjoy chalk drawing, and bubbles. Participate in our Fish song circle time with scarves. Cool off with ASAPC provided ice cream or frozen treats before returning home. Bring bathing suits, sunscreen, towels, blankets to sit on, sun umbrellas, water and snacks as desired.

Clarks Creek Park South

Thursday August 26th, 2021
Session 1 at 10am & Session 2 at 12pm
1710 12th Ave SW, Puyallup, WA 98371

Meet us at the big toy climber and enjoy a Dinosaur dig.  Find or unearth and crack a dinosaur egg (one per child). Create a colorful dino name tag by scratching it with a stick.  Enjoy the Climber, big lawn area, trails, and a music circle featuring dinosaur songs. Bring Sunscreen, Water, Snacks and a Picnic Blanket to sit on!
