Winter Activities
YMCA Gym Extravaganza with A Step Ahead Join our Playful Connections crew at the Mel Korum YMCA on Wednesday, December 17th, 10–11:30 a.m. Toddlers can run, climb, and play in a safe gym, no membership needed. Just bring socks and energy!
Winter Walk: Foothills Trail Bundle up and enjoy a scenic walk along this paved trail. It's stroller-friendly, making it suitable for little ones.
Treetops Playgrounds at STAR Center The Tot Gym is a space for kids ages 6 months-6 years old, perfect for practicing motor and movement skills. Open weekly from 9 am-12 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, admission is free.
Winter Sensory Tub Fun! Bring winter indoors! Fill a bin with “snow”, use white rice, big cotton balls or pillow stuffing. Add chunky, toddler-safe items like toy winter animals, giant pom poms, felt pieces, craft snowflakes. Use big scoops and cups to let your little one explore, pour, and play. This activity is perfect for sensory and motor skill fun!
