If you’re coming from the south — turn left at the light on 104th to enter our parking lot! Enter at the center of the building downstairs, then take the stairs or elevator to our door.
About A Step Ahead’s Playgroups
A Step Ahead's Playgroups provide children and their caregivers with opportunities to learn, play, and connect in an inclusive, supportive environment. Playgroups give caregivers the opportunity to build connections and network with other families while supporting children's development in the following areas:
Social-emotional skills
Communication Skills
Motor Skills
Cognitive Development
Sensory Development
Parent Coaching Model
Caregiver participation is essential to Playgroups. Our Parent Coaching Model encourages caregivers to actively participate in their child's play experience. Our classroom is a cell phone free zone. To help everyone stay engaged, we ask that caregivers silence their phone and reserve the use for emergencies only.
Schedule & Registration Information
Playgroups are open to children currently enrolled in services with A Step Ahead.
Fall Quarter begins the week of September 14th
We have two sessions on Tuesdays at 10am-11:15am (Session Full) and 1pm-2:15pm (Session Full)
& two sessions on Thursdays at 9am-10:15am and 11am-12:15pm (Session Full)
Playgroups are 75 minutes long and are scheduled for 10 Weeks each quarter of the school year
and take a break during the summer months each year.
Registration is open now, and our waitlist is currently active. When a spot is available for your child in class, you will receive a welcome text message from us to the phone number you used at registration.

Additional information that we want you to know:
Playgroup is best suited for children who can sit for a short snack time.
Each child may register for one session only, as class sizes are limited.
Playgroup participation is limited to two consecutive quarters.
Please be prepared to attend regularly and follow our attendance policy.
