Lead Teacher

Dr. Jenn Black is the Lead Early Childhood Special Educator for A Step Ahead. She has her doctorate in Special Education, is a certified Washington Special Education Teacher, and specializes in coaching teachers and caregivers. Jenn encourages new candidates and colleagues to bring an open mind and have a compassionate spirit because this is a work of HEART! 

When Jenn is not working, she loves to spend time with her husband and children, watching kids sporting events, knitting, puzzles, and enjoys the peace of reading.
