Marissa Jones, Early Childhood Special Educator teacher and comes to ASAPC with over fifteen years in the special education field. She has her bachelor’s in Child Development and Special Education Teaching Credential. “The most inspiring part of my job is advocating for families and helping them feel successful in their child’s development.  I also love getting kiddos ready for preschool!”

Marissa is originally from California (Go NINERS!) and moved to Washington due to her husband’s job in the NAVY.  He just retired after twenty-eight long years of service. Together, they have four beautiful children ranging in age from young adult all the way down to adolescent.  They are all great students and keep their parents busy with sports!  The Jones Family does not have pets as their youngest is allergic to most animals.

When asked what advice you would give to a future candidate who wanted to join ASAPC’s Team of Superstars, Marissa offers, “If you are interested in joining us at ASAPC, be ready to change mindsets!  We are in the business of breaking stereotypes and moving mountains!”
