Alyssa Roleke

Senior Family Resources Coordinator

Alyssa Roleke is one of ASAPC’s Senior Family Resource Coordinator, FRC.  She has been in the child development world since graduating college, about a decade ago, and at A Step Ahead for almost six years. She began the position of Senior FRC in January 2022 and love being in that role. Most of her caseload is foster care or out-of-home care, something Alyssa is very passionate about, making sure those kiddos are getting the extra support they need.

The FRC position is very unique, and it requires working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure paperwork is completed and compliant. Alyssa introduces families to ASAPC services, guides them through the enrollment process, coordinates with their provider team, and tracks the child’s progress. “All FRC’s are a resource to families and help transition children to additional services if they need it after age 3. I feel like we have such an amazing FRC team right now, it is full of people who all have big hearts and work great together.”

Alyssa is inspired both by her coworkers and the families she serves. She witnesses how hard her coworkers work to educate and support our families, often, going above and beyond what they are asked to do. As far as families, she loves seeing even the smallest progress from kiddos, knowing how hard their families are working with them to reach their goals!

In Alyssa’s personal life, she is well-traveled, has road tripped across the USA several times, visited 15 countries, and even lived in Australia for a year! She moved to Washington in 2016 from the east coast and thinks it was one of the best decisions she has ever made (but still prefers Twizzlers to Red Vines)! Alyssa enjoys time with her family, has a wicked green thumb, and loves kicking back with a great cup of coffee!
