Nellie has her Bachelor of Science, is certified as an FRC, and is a lifelong member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society which promotes unity and democracy of education. Throughout her career, Nellie has learned from the best in her field. This knowledge has enhanced the success of her FRC team to deliver the best coordinating services for the children and their families. 

Nellie has been married to a wonderful, supportive husband for the past twenty-one years. They have two amazing kids that both play AAU basketball. “Basketball is literally their world right now and
in-turn, I have become a basketball mom.” They also have a lovable German Shepard named Zoey. Nellie also has hidden talents, “I love to roller skate on quad skates. I have been doing it since middle school. I used to be on a skate dance team at Spinning Wheels in Spanaway. I also really enjoy lifting heavy weights!”
